Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best recognized for her roles in films on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the television series The Mentalist. She earned the B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 and went onto appear in mainstream, independent, as well as television shows. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes. She began her career as an actress in 1995, when she appeared as Ariel in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include The Broadway performance that Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her work in Men of Honor, The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. For her work on television she has been praised for her part as the regular character in ABC's police drama High Incident.
