Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actor, is famous for her roles in films such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was Gravesend within Greater London. Following her studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and a few years of professional work, she made her debut by playing an actor in the comedy film 'St. Trinian's'. The film followed shortly thereafter in "Quantum of Solace" which was a James Bond spy thriller. The film was average which was generally mediocre reviewers. She was then the main female character in the action fantasy movie "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". The film featured her as an extra in the French film "Orphan.' Arterton has been nominated for numerous prizes throughout her career. She was awarded an award called the "Empire Award for the Most Outstanding Newcomer" in the movie "Quantum of Solace" and also an "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical'Made by Dagenham". In 2011, she received the Glamour Award for the Woman of the year.
